SALVETE! We are a friendly and supportive group with lively interaction with our tutor. We are not a beginners group but If you have learned some Latin in the past and would like to pick it up again or take it further, we would be glad to have you on our waiting list. We are using ‘Latin to GCSE Part 2’ by Henry Cullen and John Taylor, also ‘Latin Stories’ by Cullen, Taylor and Dormandy. At the moment we pay room hire at the Victoria Hall, approximately £25 each person per quarter. We meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month for 2 hours. Our tutor sets us homework which we discuss together at the meetings.
