Have you thought of trying Pilates as a way of maintaining, or even increasing, your strength and flexibility? This class is primarily mat based, focusing on core stability muscles and posture, designed especially for the more mature person.  Pilates aims to lengthen and strengthen muscles along with increasing overall flexibility and mobility of joints, including balance. 

These gentle exercises, led by an experienced instructor, are performed in a slow, controlled manner where quality of movement is key. No previous experience is necessary, so beginners are welcome. The classes take place weekly (with breaks for half term etc) on a Tuesday 2.00-3.00pm We are a very friendly group, so if you would like more information and perhaps to sample the class, please contact The Group Coordinator.
