below and booking form here) at The Mercure Sheffield, Kenwood Hall Hotel & Spa, Kenwood Road, SHEFFIELD S7 1NQ. As usual, we advise arrival at 12 noon for a 12;30 start. Please be aware that there is a good deal of parking space on the adjacent streets as well as in the grounds of Kenwood Hall.

We are very lucky to have a much sought after speaker for our next event in May: Michelle Rawlins, author of “Women of Steel” and “The Steel Girls” series. Michelle will focus her talk on the formidable women who worked in the Sheffield Steel Industry during World War II. How many of you, we wonder, had family or friends that worked in that dangerous profession, ‘doing their bit’ for ‘the war effort’?

A Seared Breast of Chicken – cheddar cheese potato gratin, red cabbage, parsnip, masala wine sauce

B Fillet of Salmon – crushed new potatoes, green beans, char-grilled green onions, white wine & caviar velouté
