Su3a 40th Anniversary Day 9th June - Whirlow Brook Hall and Park
Refreshments will be available all day. A light buffet lunch costing £5 and requiring pre-booking will be available in timed sittings from 12.00
noon to 2.30pm for those who don’t want to bring their own and picnic. Places will be limited. See booking instructions below. The Shelter Café
will also be open.
Parking will be extremely limited but we have arranged parking at Whirlow Playing Fields on Limb Lane (first left coming from Ecclesall Rd). This will be served by a shuttle bus to the Hall. Please use this option rather than attempting to park in the Park.
Ashleys private hire bus will be running in a loop from platform E5 Pond St on the hour 10.00am to 2.00pm. Outbound it will travel via
Abbeydale Rd picking up members at the Tesco Park & Ride roughly 15 minutes past the hour. You will be able to use the Park & Ride Car
Park. Returning from Whirlow at 30 minutes past the hour from 10.30am, to 1.30pm then at 3.00pm, 4.00pm and 5.00pm stopping to drop off at
Tesco Park & Ride and then to Pond St.
Public Transport: From Sheffield – routes 65,81,271/272. From Hathersage & the Hope Valley use the 271/272 and from Tideswell or Buxton
