Gift Aid

Please note that if you are applying for Joint membership and click Yes, Gift Aid is reclaimed from your tax and not from that of your partner.

Charity Gift Aid Declaration (SU3A subscriptions are eligible for Gift Aid under HMRC rules). At no cost to yourself you can boost your subscription by 25p of Gift Aid for every £1 you pay. Gift Aid is reclaimed by Sheffield U3A from the tax you pay for the current tax year. Your address is needed to identify you as a current UK taxpayer. By selecting 'Yes' in the Gift Aid box in your profile you are agreeing to the following:

I am a UK taxpayer and understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my subscriptions/donations in that tax year it is my responsibility to pay any difference.

I want to Gift Aid my subscription and any subscriptions I pay in the future to Sheffield U3A.

It is my responsibility to notify Sheffield U3A if:
• want to cancel this Gift Aid declaration
• no longer pay sufficient tax on your income and/or capital gains
• change your name or home address
