We sing four-part songs without accompaniment, with a repertoire ranging from madrigals to swing and pop, from countries including Italy, Germany, France and Japan. Fran Wells is our very experienced and accomplished musical director. We have vacancies for singers (in particular sopranos and tenors) who have an ability to sight read reasonably well and to blend into a small vocal group. 

We meet on the 1st, 3rd and 5th (if there is one) Tuesday in each month, in a large, airy rehearsal space at the Church of the Nazarene, Heeley, which is accessible by bus. We aim for performance standard, and have sung at venues such as Clumber Park Chapel, Sheffield Cathedral, Winter Garden (Classical Music Weekends), Victoria Hall and Railway Station, as well as hospitals, lunch clubs and shops. We are happy to fund-raise for charities, especially through Christmas Carol singing.

There is a termly subscription, in order to meet the costs of our rehearsal space. This is usually between £15 and £20.

 We are happy to consider singing on request for SU3A functions, as well as other events.
