We choose a book (any novel, biography etc.) in turn and meet to discuss it over coffee. Some members stay for lunch. Our books are an eclectic list of classical and modern literary and well reviewed books, with a revisit to a traditional choice once a year. Our calendar is drawn up in the autumn for the following year and we decide then who is to lead the discussion. Some of us have been members since 2006.
