Group’s activities – Sheffield is surrounded by many fascinating places and we will be using our Bus Passes to visit a variety of interesting locations on scenic bus routes where possible. Whilst there will be some walking, the emphasis is on exploring. Most journeys will be on Saturdays so that we can use our Bus Passes all day. So far there have been visits to the amazing industrial remains in Lumsdale near Matlock, Ashbourne Sheep Fair, Bonsall Well Dressings & The World Hen Racing Championships, Calver Curbar & Froggatt Open Gardens and “Cavendish’s Horses” at Bolsover Castle.
