  We meet at Shirley House, Psalter Lane.  This is an accessible venue in s7.

We read and discuss a non-fiction book each month, chosen by each group member in turn. The member who has suggested the book gives a short introduction, giving reasons for having chosen it, some information about the author and suggests issues to start the discussion.  Our maximum number of members is 22 . 

 Members of the group have wide ranging backgrounds which fosters lively and informed discussion. We aim to create a relaxed and friendly atmosphere  so split into two groups for discussion, giving everybody a chance to express their views.  Our normal meetings are supplemented with social events.
