We have been meeting ever three weeks (now monthly)since 2016 and we try to keep our focus on practical aspects of the philosophers and issues we discuss.. Recent sessions have been on: Humour in philosophy; Plato and Aristotle compared ; and Plato's Theory of Forms and doctrine of the soul; and Mary Midgley. Planned sessions include:  Stoicism re-visited; Maurice Merleau-Ponty; Existentialism - the core concepts; and Frederick Douglas

We keep the membership under review and try to keep open for new members.
