We are looking at British history up to 1815. Each meeting starts with an introductory talk, usually by one of the group, or occasionally by a guest speaker. This acts as a springboard for discussions which take place in smaller groups of around 6 people.

Members are encouraged to suggest topics, and some may be happy to do an introductory talk, but if you are keen to join in discussions and not do any presentation, you will be equally welcomed. If you have an interest in finding out more about events in the past, and in joining in a discussion of them, this group is for you.
