We shall aim to read all genres of poetry, but especially ones which are good to read out loud and can be listened to and understood quite easily. If possible we shall bring copies, but this is not essential. 

We have decided that for the time being one person per meeting will concentrate on one particular poet and read out some information about him or her and select three (or more) of their poems to read during the course of the meeting.We also are choosing a theme for each meeting, but poems outside the theme can also be brought, and we have a bit of discussion after each one. You can also bring a poem that you have written yourself.

We  sit around some tables in an area round the corner to the right of the main entrance. There are no steps to negotiate.

There are toilets there but no facilities for obtaining a drink, so please bring your own.
