Education

In this decade of change education played its part. The Labour Government (1964-1970) hoped to create a more egalitarian society and proposed changes to education were a major factor. Reports were commissioned and legislation passed.
 
The following includes memories of those who were at school and/or being educated post 15/16 – and to what extent they were affected by changes.
