9 Sep 24Margaret SPark in the market place in Longnor – on the right as you go into Longnor from Crowdicote. There is an honesty box for contributions. If the market place is full take the next right (Buxton Rd) and right again where there is parking alongside the church and further down the road.The route covers the upper ends of the Manifold and Dove rivers. Going down the Manifold valley to start and then up to and along Sheen Hill. Then down to the Dove at Pilsbury and along to Crowdicote. Continue along thee Dove for a while before a steepish ascent back to Longnor. About 7 miles.Mike D.
